Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor is a professional football club based in Denizli, Turkey. The club was established in 1970 and currently plays in the TFF Second League, the third tier of the Turkish football league system.

History

Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor was founded on 20 July 1970. The club's first president was Mehmet Ali Yılmaz, and its first manager was Kadri Aytaç. The club initially played in the Denizli Amateur League, and in 1976, it won the championship and was promoted to the Turkish Third League.

Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor spent the next 16 seasons in the Turkish Third League, before finally winning promotion to the Turkish Second League in 1992. The club spent the next 11 seasons in the Turkish Second League, before winning promotion to the Turkish First League in 2003.

Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor spent the next 14 seasons in the Turkish First League, before being relegated to the Turkish Second League in 2017. The club has since played in the Turkish Second League, and has yet to win promotion back to the Turkish First League.

Stadium

Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor plays its home matches at the Denizli Atatürk Stadium, which has a capacity of 15,427. The stadium was built in 1959 and has been the home of Ağrı 1970 Denizlispor since its foundation in 1970.
